Tyler Gillis received an MA in History from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2025 and a BA in History and Classics from the College of Charleston in 2022. His research focuses on the intersection of technology and History, particularly in the areas of interactivity, reception, and pedagogy across diverse learning platforms. Tyler is committed to building bridges between technology and History to ensure the continued scholarly relevance of the field. In his recent work, he has employed technological tools for spatial analysis of historical sites. Additionally, Tyler is a Marine Corps veteran, having served in the 3/3 Infantry Unit at Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
