Marcy L. Galbreath is Associate Lecturer Emerita in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric. Her research focuses on environmental and agricultural rhetoric (including food discourses and nature writing), rhetorical genre theory, and digital humanities and archival research. She has published in Current Research in Digital History and Community Literacy Journal, and contributed to Pedagogies of Public Memory (Routledge, 2015). She received the 2016 NEH Chronicling America Data Challenge (Second Place) and the 2019 UCF University Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Faculty Academic Advising. She holds a Ph.D. in Texts and Technology from UCF (2014).
