Our job is to take the current website of the Charles Brockden Brown Archive, and make it become a more modern version of itself in accordance with the current accessibility standards. This will allow the website to be better for everyone to access the archive, along with making more people able to fully use it. The mobile version of the website will also get a revamp, as in its current state it is nearly unusable. Another part of the project is to update the archive to Red Hat 9, from Red Hat 7. This will be to update various outdated packages, have tighter securities, and get more support for future work on the website. Along the lines of updating the backend to be more modern, we will also be migrating all of the files into the Microsoft Azure Cloud, along with setting up instructions in order to transfer everything to STARS – UCF’s own digital repository.
