Dr. Loreta Huber is a Professor of Inter-Cultural Communication & Translation at Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty. She has experience of over 29 years of teaching at universities and training institutions in Lithuania, United Kingdom, Israel, Germany and the USA. In 2008-2013, she held the position of Vice-Dean for project coordination at Vilnius University, focusing on interdisciplinarity between science, research and studies and co-developing the study programmes of Audiovisual Translation. Her research interests are semiotics of culture, gender studies, audiovisual translation, and intercultural communication.
