Jack Murray

Jack is a PhD Student in the Texts and Technology program at the University of Central Florida. He recieved his MA in Arts, Technology, and Emerging communication with a focus on Game Studies and Design and his B.S. in Software Engineering both from the University of Texas at Dallas. Jack's research is focused on the intersections of analog and digital play, and Jack's current research is interested in the interplay between platforms, remediation and emulation, and affect. Outside of academia Jack likes to race cars, fence, and generally aspiring to be an action hero. He also collects board games and at this point has too many (it may be a problem).
